Madina Polyclinic Rawlings Circle Hospital
This is a Polyclinic located at Rawlings Circle in Accra, Ghana. This hospital is a government hospital in an underprivileged community. Our encounter with this hospital was on the 6th January 2021 when we paid a surprise visit to the maternity ward of the hospital. The purpose of the visit was to donate Mum and New born essentials to the née and expecting mother’s at the hospital maternity ward. This visit was focused on us handing these donations out to the mothers and their new born babies as well as encouraging the mothers as they embarked on their motherhood journey. The idea behind the donations was to bring some joy to the mothers during their first moments of becoming mothers, so perhaps this good memory may empower them in their motherhood- this is henceforth crucial for the domestic environment in which these newborn babies are born into.
